What wonderful start to the day. I wake up, look at my computer and i see a tweet saying that you can pre order your zuneHD today.

Sadly, The 16 is black, and the 32 is platinum. I don't see anywhere to pick colors either Edit: I saw the email, so i know you can get more colors.

Also Zune Originals will start taking orders on Zune HD Colors!

i am assuming those are the colors you get when pre-ordering......but if you check out the e-mail we got today you can clearly see Blue, red, green, and silver (where is black) originals that can be ordered on Sept 15th. so dont worry, you can still get some other colors with the originals. (kinda like the blue 120GB...that was only available in the originals section)

yeah the red one looks nice but ive noticed with my red 80gb that it doesnt seem like a lot of backgrounds yet

Still no word on how long the battery lasts with just music, huh? I'd love to know that. 48 hours of standard video is insane though.

That is 48 hours for the capacity, not battery life. It says about 4 hours for video playback.

For music playback, it says about 24 hours.

LOL 48 hour video playback?!?!? that would be insane!
but 4 hours doesnt make sense if music goes for 24 cause the 120 has 14 hous music playback and 4 hours video, so wouldnt BOTH improve for the HD?

still cant wait to get this thing

i hate that they wont let us pre-order the colors. I cannot decide between black and silver, but i know i want a 32gb. Do you guys think that the colors will include black for both the devices. If yes, i will wait until after my birthday, and order one on zuneOriginals. If not i guess im ordering a silver 32.
