Isn't a little low? I have a feeling that's what it is for the current Zunes. I thought the Zune HD was boasting many days of music (close to 20?). And I know video is wrong. I've read 48 hours regular video, 10 hours of high def. video. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The other colors are platinum and black. I'm buying mine at Zune Originals just to get a black 32gb. I'm not even adding txt or picture to the back.

i dont think this is accurate at all because last time i checked one of the zune team's members said on the cnet podcast that they are still bechmarking...which makes sence because if the zune had such "weak" battery performace then the battery details would be released along time ago
and due to all these features (eq,now playing screen wifi video etc) i would say at max it would be 4 -7 days of continous play and i have proof
PROOF : in all the review videos of the zune hd they always review the same content (music,video,pictures) if you dont believe me watch 3 different zune review videos and ill see that they all show the same thing which means that they havnt added any new music/ pictures/ vidoes in a while and also look at the battery bar on the zune hd in the videos the battery bar isnt full which means it hasnt bin charged or have bin plugged in a pc in a while

Yeah I noticed that too. Theyve probably been using the same Zune the whole time. one silver and one black (I've seen both in videos). and no, im not being sarcastic just in case u think i am

thank god for zune originals. im not a fan of the custom art work but the fact of differnt coller options is awsome! y should i have to suffer thrugh only 16GB because i want black. hopefully they will allow u to pick any of the five colors for any size
It kinda seems weird to me that they didn't mention any apps or games yet for the HD (except in one of the previews). I think that they should at least advertise that they have them or are making them. That just makes sense to me.

No. When Nvidia was presenting the Tegra chip, they were boasting many days of music on a netbook that has a battery much larger than the ZuneHD. Microsoft never claimed the ZuneHD would last many days of continuous music play on a single charge.
I really do not get why people are surprised.

The AV Car Pack that is referred is the same crappy one with the FM transmitter, right? Ugh. I hate FM transmitters. Too bad there isn't a Zune dock with a cradle, charging port and audio out.

yeah, but come on! ipod has 36 hours and like 10 on video. 24 hours doesnt beat 36 and 4 definately doesnt beat 10
That is true, but it is also smaller than the iPod Touch and iPhone, so there is less room for the battery.
Well then I don't see how they could possibly advertise about it having such stellar battery life if it doesn't even beat the iPod Touch. I was getting all excited about bragging to iPod users about how it'll last for days on a single charge. I seem to recall, in almost every video, the person talking about the Zune HD would bring up battery life and say how the Tegra and OLED screen are such great power savers and how efficient they are... 33 hours is nothing to brag about in my opinion. Especially considering that a device that's been out for a year gets better battery life still.
That's kind of a hype killer for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm pre-ordering the 32 gig within the next week and currently trying to sell my iPod Touch, but my excitement for the battery life just got killed...
