Boohoo berty, take the hd at face value and don't evaluate it that much. We still don't have all of the details, so just sit back and make the most of the info we have now

wtf!?, did you read what i said? i DONT know how that stuff works, i just buy it and use it. but thinking how a phone battery can last ever 24 hours while it connects to the internet, takes calls, etc. maybe they could get a SIMILAR battery. not the actual PHONE battery. i typed that part a little wrong, but still.

There is no phone battery that can let even a screen stay on for a day

yeah, i understand what u mean coryflett, but the truth is, that most phones rnt doing multiple things at once. its powering a much smaller system too. 30gigs vs a couple megabites(idk).

uh, mariodjw, that is what i was doing, evaluating what we know and sharing what i feel would make a better device. im just sparking conversation, u know, like a forum site does!!

i think ur the one that needs to chill and get off everybodys case

i found something in a post about the word "pin" in the home/menu. i went out and looked for it and a picture of the word showed up on cnet. here's the link:
Video: Hands-on look at the Zune HD | Beyond Binary - CNET News

i looked again at cnet for zune hd and looked at their video. it's different than the one here. you see the man scroll down and if you stop the video in time, "m" shows clearly. check it out:

It's actually good that Dragonite pointed out "keep in mind that the firmware isn't finished". Even for my zune-veteran self, i was watchin the video and notice that when he tried showing something like clicking the Playlists, it didn't actually go through with the touch. So it goes to show that theres still issues with the tracking and clicking of the touch screen. Personally i dont think/ i hope that this is more like the video of zune's "nano" It's far too small for my liking. In the land of technology, bigger is NOT better, but size does give you the safe feeling that it wont just break on you. with that said, its still remarkable how far this lil baby has come since my first zune.
