Yes! finally I can shove in ipod touch owner's faces! I hope thay have an "program store", because the microsoft communiy could come up with some pretty cool stuff. Good work microsoft. also, I hope google develops Chrome for the zune. it might run fast.
Very interested in this new device. Looks amazing, being a mechanical nutjob the industrial design and exposed screws are a a turn-on. Specs look good so far, hoping for a more open source platform.
This proprietary crap has got to stop, Apple figured it out, as a few others that if you want the public to adopt it, make it work on multiple platforms. Just look at all the friggin iPod docks, radios, home entertainment systems and such. This piece of hardware could be the blockbuster MS needs to get into these markets.

I think MS will leave this up to the "Pink" project. Conflict in interests otherwise. Also this would be a huge selling point for MS if they did include it, and they would've shed some light on this if it was to happen.
i am surprised that they only went for the 3.3" screen. i thought they were always ahead in the size of the screen, i guess not this time. it looks really cool though. i am getting it the first day it comes out.
