
Microsoft announced last Wednesday a series of downloadable episodes called Cinemash.
They will team up with MEAN (Music, Entertainment, Art, News) magazine to create an ad-supported short video comedy series called
"Cinemash". It will feature actors reenacting roles from classic movies.
They will become available for download this spring through Zune Marketplace and will eventually spread to MSN and XBox Live.
MS said that plans were being made Microsoft said plans were in the works "with some of the most talented actors, directors and producers in the entertainment industry" to make additional shows.
"Zune will develop additional pilots over the next 12 months ranging from live-action and animated comedy to urban and music programming," said Microsoft.
