New updates for Zune?

According to a recent Twitter message made by Brian Seitz, a member of the Zune Team, we should see a lot of new stuff happening with the Zune starting next month.

Now if Brian says that new things will be starting in the next 9 months from when he replied, then that would mean we could see big things by November, which has long been the month of updates for us Zune users. Could this be the fabled touch screen Zune? New firmware/software update? Looks like we will just have to wait and see.

is it possible to recieve updates wirelessly? I haven't had my computer in awhile and i was just wondering. Cuz if there's updates coming, i want them. And I don't know when it's coming back

Ah, ACE, working behind the scenes... I love it.

I would be slightly disappointed if the zune touch came out this year, simply because I just got my 120, and i'd have to wait a while to purchase it.

I look forward to big updates.

I hope there isn't a game marketplace because I am broke and cant afford to buy anything so I would hope that they would just have a S*#t load of new games that you can download for free.

However if a touchscreen Zune came out I would be obligated to buy it, even though I am broke, although I wouldn't get too excited yet, since we have had no actual word that there will be any touch device, and since It seems like MSFT is trying to get the Zune into more of a platform than a device I would be more betting on a vastly improved firmware/software update, one that will smoke I tunes(hopefully).

"Updates for Zune" sounds like mostly software updates though.

As of today there is supposed to be a Music quiz coming to the Zune, or Zune software, tomorrow, or soon after. that is why the marketplace is down right now

how much do you guys think the zune touch will cost? like 150 dollars? Since the itouch is 200 and windows beats their prices by 30-40 dollars, it should be cheaper?

i really hope to see new thing from zune exspicially this year, not nessisarily including the zune touch wouldn't be expectingn that until next year in my opinion, becuse sio that they can get all the glitches and firmware problems out of the software

First, as far as I know, there is no confirmed story of any touch device for Zune being developed. Secondly I think that they will do what they have always done and match the price of the Ipod.
