Zunes don't have an accelerometer, but the new nanos do, but
IMO it's pretty worthless.
An accelerometer detects when the player is shaken or turned and displays the video in a certain way. With the nano, you simply shake the device while it's playing to skip to a random song in the que, or when watching videos, you can simply turn it on its side to view in landscape mode. Both features are pretty pointless...if I have time to take the darn thing out of my pocket, I can't simply press the forward button? And why would I view any video in anything other than landscape? The image becomes compressed to fit in the regular screen, so of course landscape mode would be logical....why they needed to place one in the new nano is beyond me...it's prolly so the iSheep can ooo and awww at it...
