Microsoft posts record-breaking $16.37B profit

Microsoft just posted some great news; No doubt thanks to the new Zunes, Xbox 360, and Windows Vista, Microsoft has made an amazing $16.37 billion profit for the second quarter of 2007. Definitely not bad for 3 months.

In the three months ending December 31, 2007, Microsoft pulled in some $16.37 billion in revenue and $6.48 billion in operating income, which translated to 30-percent and 87-percent growth in each area, respectively. The outfit also took the chance to mention that sales of Windows Vista had surpassed 100 million licenses, and Kevin Johnson, president of the Platforms and Services Division, even noted that it was "looking forward to the release of its first service pack later this quarter."

Apple posted $1.58B in profit... Looks like more people own Zunes than Steve Jobs thought.

It's not only Zunes though, it's Vista, Xbox, all the Microsoft stuff.

Does anyone know how the Zune did sales wise? I've seen the Xbox numbers, but it seems a little quiet on the ZUne front.

Trust me dude. NOBODY is buying Vista. Especially now that it's out on Microsplot.com that Vista sends Microsoft your personal information whenever it's on. That thing is just one big piece of spyware.
