$800 Zune??

If you haven't finished all of your christmas shopping yet, you can always check out ebay. What's on ebay you say? Well an $800 Zune - a perfect stocking stuffer for your die-hard-can't-find-anything-to-please Zune fan! it's a limited edition Wisin y Yandel Zune. So if you have a small fortune to fork over, head on over to ebay where there's more than one available in that price range! Good luck on getting UPS....er.....Santa to deliver it in time!

Dang, had I know they would have been that popular I would have picked a few of them up. Only problem is finding a Walmart. Those people must really love Wisin y Yandel. I would rather just buy their album (which I already have), a new 80 gb zune (which I'm planning on getting) and have someone custom design a case if I was that hung up on them (which I'm not).

I don't think it's a hoax. I think the seller put a reserve price for the item at or above $800. So whenever a buyer places a bid that does not meet the reserve price it looks like they're outbid. So they keep bidding trying to meet the hidden reserve price until they either meet it or it exceeds what they're willing to pay. I hate when buyers do that.

$810 for a Zune is like paying full price for one. At $100-250, we've just been getting tremendously great deals.

Its funny to see that particular Zune selling for so much. I opened one of my gifts my wife got me last night and it was the exact same Zune. But I know for a fact she did not pay $800 for it. Its weird though, I did not know who Wisen y Yandel was and neither did she. She said she got it because it looked nice. Its my first Zune and second MP3. My first was a sandisk 2GB which was good at first but then I ran into many problems.

Those limited Zune's are probably at many Walmarts. The group Wisin y Yandel are a Puerto Rican spanish language Reggaeton (PR Hip-Hop) group. So the genre as well as the artists are more well known among Hispanics than among the majority of Walmart shoppers. I'm sure the people trying to buy these Zune's are Hispanics who live in area's where they are sold out. While I'm sure there are people in other parts of the country who have bought the Zune and couldn't care less about the group, they just wanted a Zune.

there were quite a few of these zunes at local walmarts. I have no idea who those guys are and definitely wouldn't consider getting one w/ some crap I don't want on it.

Oh.. and I wouldn't pay $800 for one either, that's madness.

$800 is crazy. I'm Puerto Rican, so I know who the group is. I have their album and think it's pretty great. But I would never pay $800 for what amounts to an album, a few music videos and a fancy ass sticker. That's just nuts. If I'm paying $800 it better have a Terrabyte worth of space and be filled with tons of music & films. You can keep the fancy case.
