New Software Bad Tagging Fix and New UnZoone

For those people still having troubles with the tags and album art being screwed up upon updating the software, Microsoft has released an executable file to hopefully fix them. Download is at

Also the program UnZoone is beta testing for the newest version of the software to become a tester go over to http://remove-it.org and click on contact in the upper right and request a copy to test it.

so does this just delete the ZuneStore.sdf and CurrentDatabase_365.wmdb like the manual one?

I'm assuming, I'm pretty sure it just does it for you. I've had no reason to use it yet.

I used Unzoone but when I brought up add/remove programs it still showed that some form of zune software was installed. The zune logo was not there and it would not unistall due to "a fatal error"

you used the old unzoone for the old software, this is a new unzoone built specifically for the new software.

i cant get the unzoone. and my zune software screen looks funny .

i cant see anything. i've download and uninstall a million and one times
but it keeps on happening

Thanks! I was able to fix some of the stubborn album arts with this.

Edit: However, my Zune software now won't let me sign in, it gives me a "marketplace" error every time.

I've tried many of the "so called" fixes. The main problem I'm still having is that if you have a compilation cd with different artists it will be broken up and not displayed under one album. So I've totally given up. Even though I hate to do it, I'll have to manually change the names of the artists to the names of the albums just to keep them together under one album. Sucks.

Yeah XBL and Zune marketplace are both down temporarily
