![]() There's a reason why the Zune has received such positive reviews, and is a surprise this holiday season! Even the iFans have acknowledged it! The Zune 80 bridges the gap between the iPod Touch and iPod Classic. Apple, in it's infinite wisdom, decided to incorporate the revolutionary design of the iPhone into its iPod line, but inadvertantly created a huge rift in iPod choices. Would you choose the innovative design of the iPod Touch with its touch interface, limited internet access, and large 3.5" screen but sacrifice storage space in only 8Gb or 16Gb sizes? OR would you choose the memory rich 80Gb or 160Gb iPod Classic, but sacrifice the larger screen for a tiny 2.5" version, and, "who wants something called "classic" as a gift?" Asks Rob Enderle of TechNewsWorld .This leaves consumers with a hard decision that has been solved with the introduction of the Zune 80. The newest Zune has a large 3.2" screen AND large memory capacity as well as features not found on any iPod. This has led the Zune 80 to receive the PCmag Editor's Choice (see the video!). Take a look at the GotZune side by side comparison of the Zune 80 and 80Gb iPod Classic.

Wow, the iTouch has just 8-16GB. That is just a classic rip off.

I actually have a 16gig touch and to be honest, after the first few days I rarely use it. But I still use the crap out of my Zune 30

With the Zune80 having a large screen and large storage space, I do agree that it fills an empty space between the Classic and Touch.
I can't imagine spending $400 on a device and rarely using it.

I actually won it in a drawing. Trust me I would never have paid 400 bucks for something with only 16 gigs of space. I would have bought a Zune 80 and took it out to diner if I was gonna spend that kind of money

The iPhone is $400 and only available in 8GB. The iPod Touch is $300-8Gb and $400-16GB. Definitely over-priced, But a fantastic device.
