[SOLVED] Firmware 2.1 -- Wednesday

Yup, looks like today's a big day for us Zune owners.

We've seen the Zune 2.0, and that leaves one question -- Am I being left behind for v2?
Answer? Of course not. There is photographic proof of 2.1 firmware.

Wednesday's the day, folks. The UI is changed a bit, leaving space underneat the WiFi/Battery. Clock, anyone?

EDIT: It will be Announced on Wednesday, along with the official Zune 2 announcement.

EDIT By ACE: The Firmware is expected on or around Tuesday, November 13, 2007, when the new Zunes will be released.

Because if you think about it, if Zune 2.1 Firmware is based of the Zune 2. It would be strange for that interface to come before the Zune 2.

Yeah, I was looking for my usb cord to check, and it updated... So it will be announced Wednesday, not released.

About time. I'm expecting (though I probably shouldn't be) a few more features to get us on par with zune 2. Perhaps some of your guys' ideas in the wishlist will finally be fulfilled!

Greg, I meant enadget updated. when I went to go get my USB cord, the message was "Apparently Firmware 2.1 has been released..."

Only thing that throws me is the orientation of the wi-fi/battery indicator. Might be real, but tacky nonetheless.

Highly doubt it. The zune probably doesn't have the power to do it. And without a built-in keyboard, it would be extremely frustrating.
