Default Add to collection?

What does add to collection do?

Does it buy the song? Or does it just add to the playlist with Zune Pass?

I see where I have added some playlists like Top 40 and some of the songs say, "Add to collection"

Thanks

Anything on your Zune can be copied to your "Collection" which is just like backwards syncing. Taking the stuff from your Zune, and putting it into the Computer.

But I don't have my Zune yet. I pre-ordered the Zune HD but was going to get a jumpstart on Zune Pass and be ready when the HD gets here.

if you have a zune pass you have access to EVERY song in the zune marketplace and "add to collection" is another word for download or buy.

that is what I am afraid of. I don't want to "buy" the song yet. So if I click "Add to Collection" then I bought the song?

I realize that I am "renting" the songs. I was just making certain that I wasn't buying a particular song if I selected Add to Collection. I don't want to buy any music at this point. I am using the Zune HD as my "radio" for the time being. I cancelled my Sirius last night and subscribed to Zune Pass. I am curious to see what MS has in store for 4.0. Hopefully some type of Netflix integration!

Thanks.
