I am running Vista Ultimate with Zune 1.2. I am unable to connect to the market place because the zune software does not see my internet connection. Any suggestions?

try opening up IE or Firefox and then open up Zune. Maybe something will happen.

Here was a suggestion I gave to someone else with a similar problem. It may help:
I would check your firewall settings. You needs to give Zune.exe, ZuneNss.exe and ZuneLauncher.exe access to the web / tcp stack in your firewall. (ZuneLauncher may not be needed but I am not on my home PC at the moment). You can also try to run the Internet Setup wizard from the Internet Options control panel. That sometimes fixes issues with proxy settings. Sometimes the computer expects a proxy when one is not set up and running the wizard corrects the issue. |
