My problem is that when I go to download anything off of Marketplace a screen pops up telling me to sign in. When I try to sign in an error comes up saying that I am not connected to a server or that the zune software is being blocked by a firewall. Obviously I am connected to the internet because I am posting now! I checked all the firewalls and it is not being blocked. Any ideas?
Anyone.... Bueller.... Bueller...

Try it on a different computer. Although you have let it through your firewall, it still might not.

I don't really have access to another computer with the software on it. In about a week though I should. I will try it then.

I am almost positive that when you download off of there it uses Internet Explorer, even though you use Firefox for your internet browser. Also make sure your computer is update with the latest Microsoft windows updates. (including IE update as posted above)

Edit: I did that, but it still doesn't work. Any other ideas?

Try turning off all your firewalls off, then reboot your pc. Try to complete your task now. If this does not work make sure to turn your firewalls back on.
oh is there a code number for that error

There is no error for this. It just says that it can not connect to the server.
I already tried turning my firewall off. It didn't work.
Anything else? I really want ot get this working.

Have you tried using UnZoone to uninstall the software?

What exactly is "unzune" I have heard of it, but I don't what it is.
Everything else on the software works. IDK what the problem is.

When you uninstall the zune software it leaves a lot behind creating problems the next time you install again. UNZOONE makes sure nothing is left behind so it makes it easier for you next time

OK thanks, I will try it.
Edit: On the site, it does not say that it supports 3.1 (which I have) Will this be a problem?

I did it, I installed the software again, an it does the same thing. Either the unzoone didn't do it correct, or I need another solution.

hmm... Is it saying that it can't connect, or that cookies must be turned on? When I try to login and create an account it says my cookies are turned off and it is rly frustrating. I have this cool piece of hardware but am unable to access all the features. (BTW, first post, I love my 30gb brown zune!)
