Default Zune Marketplace Not Available?

so i set up the Zune software on my buddys computer and got him updated and everything. i showed him how he could browse the Marketplace for podcasts to d/l to the Zune.

a couple days later, he tried to search for more and in the Zune software, it comes up "ZUNE MARKETPLACE IS UNAVAILABLE, TRY BACK LATER". I know it is available because I will go to a different computer on the network, and the Marketplace comes up fine. anyone familiar with this?

im sure all these computers do, but i installed Zune on this computer fine without having to tweak firewall settings. this is at a decent size job so firewall settings i believe are only available to the IT guy, and im sure he wouldnt OK opening a port for the Zune. if this can be done through windows, is it just an allowable preference?

btw, he had accessed it before on that computer, and suddenly its no good.

Oh, is he at a college or something? In that case, they prob. block Zune Marketplace.
