I keep getting this error code when I try to download music I purchased. It says, can't use your Zune Pass with this computer because you have 3 other computers already using it. Well, I don't have a Zune Pass. And, I don't have 3 computers set up with my Zune software. Can anybody help?

did you let someone use your pass or what? or some people might of put a code that actually matched your zune pass code.

I don't have a Zune Pass. I just bought some Zune points.

Step 1. Make sure you have administrative priviledges on your computer. If you want to check, it's usually under control panel, then user accounts.

Step 2. Go to this link. http://go.microsoft.com/FWLink?LinkID=34506 This should ask you about upgrading something called DRM (digital rights management) There should be a button called upgrade. Click on it if you can but if its grayed out, like mine was, go to the top of your internet window and click on tools, then internet options. Under the security tab, click on trusted sites and add that site to your list. It should then let you click on upgrade.

Step 3. If Zune was open during this operation, close it and open it again. The songs you have purchased should be in your collection and awaiting download.

Warning This procedure affects all media files on the computer that use Windows Media DRM technology. The effect of this procedure is not limited to media files that you obtained from the Zune Marketplace. If you follow this procedure, content licenses for all protected media files on the hard disk are deleted. Other providers, such as, Napster, MSN Music, and Wal-Mart, use different mechanisms for restoring licenses. If you have content from other providers, examine the appropriate license restoration policies before you continue.
To reset the DRM system on the computer, follow these steps:a. Verify that the Show hidden files and folders option is turned on. To do this, follow these steps:

Windows Vistaa. Start Windows Explorer. To do this, click Start, type userinit.exe in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
b. Click Organize, and then click Folder and Search Options.
c. Click the View tab.
d. Click Advanced Settings.
e. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders, click to clear the Hide Protected Operating System files (recommended) check box, and then click OK.
Windows XPa. Start Windows Explorer. To do this, click Start, click Run, type userinit.exe, and then click OK.

c. Click the View tab.

2. Look for the applicable folder based on the version of Windows that you are using.

b. Type DRMbackup, and then press ENTER.
c. Close Windows Explorer.

If you receive an “Access denied” error message when you try to rename your DRM folder, start the computer in safe mode and log in as the computer administrator. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Restart the computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start multiple operating systems, press the F8 key when the Boot menu appears.
2. Select the safe mode option when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and then press ENTER.

The Boot menu appears again and the words "Safe Mode" appears in blue at the bottom of the screen.

e. Sign in to the Zune Marketplace. Then try to play a song to verify that the issue has been resolved.
