Media Usage Rights

Hey,

I bought a couple of songs recently from zune marketplace, but soon after due to other problems I needed to format my hardrive due to viruses. After I reinstalled windows I copied all of my songs back onto my computer including the zune marketplace songs. But I tried to play them today and it said i need to get the media usage rights. to do this it recomends I sign into zune marketplace and play the song to refresh the usage rights. im always signed in automatically, but it does not refresh the rights and I cannot play the files.

Please help.

You would need to call Zune Support to get the DRM reset.

Is the software letting you sighn in,if so what does it do when you try to play the song?

I know that in the old software, at least, there was an option to restore your downloaded library. You could restore it somewhere around 3 times before having a penalty.

I've yet to look for it yet in the new software, but it *should* be there. If not, call Zune tech support and they will be able to help you out.

Then again, I know with my Zune Pass, I think it is located under Marketplace > Downloaded, you can see your download history. I think you can maybe download it from there, but once again, I'm not 100% sure.
