Default marketplace sign-in


so every time i got to sign-in a message will say that :
"Zune marketplace has encountered an unexpected error.Please try again later."

that was yesterday and today...

any advice or help out there?


also after buying the monthly pass like usual, why can't i get music? is there more i need to do now?

I'm having the same problem, and also anything I download (like podcasts) though the Zune marketplace doesn't seem to be working. So my highly uneducated guess is that maybe they're slammed with new people and their network is feeling the stress.

Yes, same here... this has been a rather unsatisfying gift recently ("Zune Pass"). It works much of the time, but then it seems that Microsoft's Zune server(s) are overwhelmed and not responding at other times. / KCMD

I can sign into the website just fine but not through the software.

I did see somewhere in Support that they are aware of the problem, and "Engineers" are on it.

ugh so annoying, its frustrating for sure. as long as they're aware of it though i guess i'll be pleased enough for now, this better not be a long wait though I mean we pay for their service right is it too much to expect it to work properly?

Ahh, yes, I see that now... when one visits the main Zune support web-site ( zune.net/en-US/support/ ) near the top-right of the screen it displays the following message:

zune service status
Status:
Users may experience intermittent issues logging onto Zune Marketplace. Our engineers are continuing to investigate and are working to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.

At least that puts my sanity to rest that it's nothing that I'm doing wrong; now if only we can get back into the infinite Zune Pass music service.

According to the website (zune.net/en-US/support/ ) they believe they have fixed the issue because it is now saying "Status: Up and running", but I am still having the same problems as everyone else.

ZMP and XBL are currently closed
it has a problem the XBL team apparently has been up day and night trying to correct it.
Though ZMP and XBL might get some free stuff for our troubles.

Hi:

I have a problem with my new registration. When I make the New account Wizard, I put my email (The same that I use in the XBOXLIVE) then hit "Next" and then is the Accept the Terms and when a Hit "I Accept" button, it takes me to the same page again. I hit it again and do it the same over and over again.

I don't know if someone have or has this problem, or may be is the related to the same issue that they have with Xbox Live.
