Exclamation Will not let me log on.

I need some help.

When I go to the marketplace in the software it all comes up perfectly. I can search for artists...find music...visit the podcasting section....

Thing is when I try to download/go to the social/ subscribe to a podcast it tells me I have to log in. I have an account and it's already been set up and I have purchased music before but when I try to sign in it tells me that I do not have an active internet connection ("You don't appear to be connected to the internet. Make sure you're connected, then try again") but no matter how many times I try it wont let me in.

I know I have an active internet connection (I mean, if I didnt I wouldnt be posting it) but the software just wont recognize it. Help?
