Software nightmare!!!

I have been trying to install the software for 2 hours. I have never had this much of a problem EVER installing or repairing anything.
I have tried creating a new user account, tried stuff from this website, tried the help tips from micrsoft (error 1303) the permissions one... tried all of the msdos prompt stuff...
Can anyone give me advice that works? PLEASE? or else the zune gets it!

If not, perhaps using SZIP (found in the completed hacks and mods section on this board) will do things right.

Tried everything, still the same problem. There was a gal that updated to Vista but I think that is a little extreme. I don't trust Vista just yet...
I have searched and tried everything I could find. To know avail. Very disappointed in the zune. Looks like it would be a great payer and it does just about everything...

Does anyone know if it will sync with windows media without Zune Software?

Actually, for the next 2 weeks, you can get the zSuite that WILL allow you to sync with WMP. However, after that, the new Zune Marketplace will come out.

You need to make sure you meet the minimum system requirements. You need to atleast have XP with SP2 or Vista. Click HERE to see if your computer needs any available updates.
