V4.3 For the Zune HD now out!

My 32 didn't either, just goto settings, device, Update Player, then click Update

Yea i saw no update in speed... if anything 4.3 is worse, i noticed the splash screen (the picture that comes up woth the time tnat you have to move up) has an error and glitches out, the settings menu is jerking, and some othr sub-menu's are jerky too... so yea...

In the setting, you can now change the Zune to view Desktop or Mobile

Someone over on gdgt.com posted a list of some of the new stuff. There's actually quite a bit in this update:

Browser:
- Faster (MUCH faster on some sites like Engadget and GDGT)
- Desktop/ Mobile option (in settings)
- Better Tap-To-Zoom
- Better ability to scroll when typing a message online (Type a long message and want to scroll to the top? Impossible on v4.1)

Keyboard:
- Predictive Text
- Auto-capitilization
- Dedicated Settings Menu
- Full screen keyboard in landscape mode (no more little floating box)
- You can skip from one row of keys no the next

Music:
- Bios now contain links to songs, other artists and other albums. (Awesome!)
- Slightly smoother scrolling (IMO) and faster bottom-to-top warp.

Radio:
- Choice of seek method (presets or seek) in settings

Generally faster transitions, but only slightly.

- Apps load slightly faster, and the accuracy of the touchscreen is improved during gameplay.
- Apps close faster
- The power off says ''slide down to power off'' instead of just ''Power Off''

- The screen flickering on the browser is barely noticeable.

Yea i saw some new updates too, but, is the 3D support for all dev's or only "micrsoft Certified" ones

I posted this in Zune HD Games for a reason. I only care about the performance that developers are getting. >_>

the 3D gaming comes with a new SDK which i havent found yet, but hopefully soon

It just says "player is up to date (v4.1)" when I go to the settings in the zune software.

Me too.

EDIT: I got it. Love mostly everything, except one thing. My favorites are in sequential order, not alphabetically. It's really bugging me.

Almost done with the update, Thanks creativezune +rep, worked like a charm. I don't get why it worked but what ever. New apps and games are going to sweet with the new update

Well when you have about 20 bookmarks, it's kind of a pain in the ass to not know where they are. So, yes, you're right, it's not OCD.

New to the boards but needed to make sure i'm not the only one with this problem.

After updateing to the new firmware, I noticed the Marketplace icon is missing from the UI, I was going to buy some music and I can't untill I have access to a computer again. Am I the that's having this problem?

I actually JUST got off the wireless marketplace....so i dont know what you all are getting. maybe it has something to do with the fact that the UK doesn't have a Zune marketplace...i dunno, but i dont have the issue you two do.......weird

Ok, I found out how to fix it. Relink your account to your Zune a resync it. It should pop back up

EDIT: Okay, i figured it out. I had to erase my Zune's firmware to get it to find it. Just shut your Zune down, and hold the power and media buttons. This shouldn't delete any of your music, pics, or other stuff. Just the firmware.

It would be assumed you're wondering how the ZuneHD in general is performing, not how faster games are or will be after the update, since you said in the post I quote that you care about the developers. Or apps made. Whatever. See the misunderstanding? Well, I'll just merge this with the other thread. Make it more clear next time :/
