With the release of the new games and 3D gaming for the Zune HD it is well on it's way to becoming an Xbox360 portable. That will be the big winning point for MS in sales against the Ipod. Because I know that millions of people would much rather have an Xbox360 portable then a crap old Ipod.

Microsoft isn't interested in making their own hardware, let alone competing directly with the iPod Touch. The Zune is a temporary piece of hardware that was used to introduce the Zune Service to the masses. By next year, the Zune Service will be ported to WinMo7 phones and the Zune Player will either be on its last generation (Zune HD2), or it will be done by then.
So you mean to tell me that the Zune is moving away from sleek hardware music players to another one of the 1,000,000 ways to buy music? Sounds awesome! Where do I sign up?

Seriously, it's as if the Zune team doesn't even want to be successful. No one gives a crap about a music store being available on WinMo. What people would care about, though, is an Xbox portable.
Really, Zune is more about music than games... That's kinda what sets Zune HDs apart from iTouches...

But it isn't even that good at playing music either. If you want a REAL music player, look at the Rio Karma. Even the touch is kinda better at music than the ZHD.

Have you ever touched a zune???? The music quality is far far better then anything ipod can do, same with the video quality, richer darks and the OLED screen amazing!
Zune HD will be nothing in 8 months. Android PMPs and the iPods will take care of it.
Why does every all of a sudden think that Zune HD's will just fade out???? MS may not be putting everything they have into it, but they sure put a hell of a lot in. I think it's safe to say the Zune HD's are here and they are going to stay.

Doubt it. The Zune Service is here to stay. The Zune HD has mabye one more version (maybe) before it's done. After that, the service will be in WinMo phones. The player will most likely be over and done with.

Face it, the iPod Touch has way more options for music. Last.fm, pandora, youtube, iTunes, rhapsody, lala.com, and a bunch of others. It has more integration with accessories, has built-in bluetooth, more listening options, I could probably go on for 30 minutes. The Zune HD has the Zune pass (which costs $15) and better sound quality (which is subjective).
But, the ZHD has potential to be awesome. I just think the Zune guys make some bad decisions. They're pretty much clueless.
If you guys want a REAL music player, try to get a Rio Karma before they're all gone.
