I am or course talking about the app store. Sure microsoft will make apps but as we all know without a third party app store the quantity will be desperately low. I don't want to scrounge the internet for hours just to get a few apps and im sure none of you want to either. My suggestion is we develop a third party app that you install via XNA that is an appstore. The app will tap into the zuneboards "database" of third party apps and you can download them directly on your zune, ideas?
You'd need a few things. First, a "zuneboards 'database'" of apps.
And I doubt it would work. Microsoft is eventually going to make an app store, so I see no need for your third party HaxApp.
Actually it has been confirmed that there wont be a SDK. We already have a some third party apps that arent available unless you use XNA, have you seen the etch-a-sketch app? That could be put on the database. I see no reason why it wouldnt work, unless your an experienced programmer of the zune hd
well i agree that this doesn't sound like it would work, maybe if the site admins created a better interface for downloading games, maybe like a page with a logo, name, description, and user rating of all the finished zune hd games. that would be useful
"In line with this, Brian Seitz, Microsoft’s Zune marketing manager, also revealed in an interview with Seattle Times that they don’t have plans of releasing a Zune SDK as Microsoft will develop the free games in-house or work closely with concerned 3rd party developers. He also revealed of their plans of possibly having Windows Marketplace integration or something similar in the future as well. No guarantees here, but just hearing about it is enough to get us excited at what lies ahead. It looks like Microsoft has finally got their act together with the ZuneHD. Good job guys! Let’s keep ‘em coming."
I mean honestly, do you seriously think MS won't add an app store?

That I'm dumbing myself down?
Is it filling you with doubt

He asked for confirmation of no SDK, I gave it to him
