I stumbled upon this tonight while randomly browsing I am bored. This method has probably been tried in the past, but I figured I'd post it anyway. Some guy demonstrates adding extra data to a file while maintaining it's jpg status. Will this get caught in the Zune's check? Is this the same method people are already talking about?

Out of curiosity, what does the zune do with the file? Reject it because it's too big? Ignore the included file and just run with the picture?

This just combines 2 files. If you want it to remain an image, you need to put the image file first. Besides, looking at an image shouldn't actually activate any code except for image rendering. The PSP image trick just corrupted the firmware, and there were already ways to upload firmware manually. Until we figure out a way to upload firmware ourselves, I don't think image tricks are going to help us.
