Lightbulb ZuneHD jailbreak?
is it possible? i barely know what firmware is, so if anyone thinks the zune's can be cracked just like the itouch, please explain.

It's a yes and no, for me at least. There are ups and downs to any 3rd party hacked software (such as custom firmware on routers and the psp).

The current zunes ARE hackable, but no one has managed to do it. Basically, everything is hackable... like Netrix said, if the zune HD has a large enough popularity, the hackers will be interested in breaking it.

Too early to tell. The device isn't even out yet. When it does come out, if the hackers like it, we may see a jailbreak. Who knows?

But with jailbreaking doesn't there come hackers stealing apps and stuff wich is stealing from the developers?

They also must not understand that the underlying OSes are completely different. In a nutshell, it's like programming a game for windows, and then without any change to the source code, running it in MacOSX. That is really only possible through special programs, and they usually don't even work that well.
