Unicode support on zune 30？

As we all know zune is not support Asian-language（such as chinese japanese and korean） officially. but i have seen on the zunebords forum said you can
1>open your zune and connect your zune's hdd to your computer with a adapter.
2>then open the folder named "Fonts" under the system patition's root directory. Put font files (msgothic.ttc gulim.ttc mingliu.ttc simsun.ttc) into the folder.
3>assembling zune and turn it on.
The zune will be support unicode character.

Does it really work?If It realy works does it have requirement on firmware verision？

that was with the pre 3.0 firmware
you cannot do that with the 3.0 firmware

Most likely.
Unicode is suppose to come to the zuneHD, so it might come to the old generations via firmware update.
