How do i do it. I have gone in and modified the proper registry values under controlset001, 002, and Currentcontrolset. Nothing is working. I even downloaded an auto patcher that does what it says, and nothing works. If anyone has experienced this annoying problem please give me a link or walk me through it. and yes i had the Zune software off and the zune unplugged when i did this and when i was finished i started the Zune software then plugged it in...nothing.

Hey Rob im sorry to say, but the Zune HD Hack doesnt work with firmware above 2.5 If you do not remember what you changed, reinstall. Sorry about this.

would downgrading do me any good? and i backed up my registry so it is ok.

Yea if you downgrade but you will lose games and all the great things 3.0 has.

no he wouldn't becuase you could stilll have games on 2.5 or was that only on ctp?

Indeed, 2.5 is compatible with XNA CTP only, not the Beta or Final. And don't forget, games weren't the only feature that came with the upgrade.
