I Was Wondering If Anyone Could till Me if The Toshiba MK8022GAA 80GB Hard Drive out of a Ipod Classic Would Replace The Hard Drive In a 80Gb Zune

any 1.8" .zif hard drive will work, you just have to find a way putting the firmware on it..

I can't remember what happened when we tried that... I think we got an error when loading it up on the Zune? I can't remember... give it a shot.

Just buy another Zune Hard Drive. EBAY. Ipods ones I think don't work as the firmware cannot get loaded on properly

It should be able to work...I recently swapped a zune 30gb hdd for an ipod 30gb hdd and it works perfectly. so if its anything like the zune30, it should work.
