I'm wanting to disassemble my 120 to paint the case (I HATE the glossy finish), and I'm curious as just how to go about this. Are it's guts exactly the same as the 80?
The guts are so similar it won't matter. As to taking it apart, you need to take off the plastic cover that fits around the sync port, remove the screws there, and carefully pry the two sides apart. At least, I think that's how it is, I seem to remember someone saying that it was now glued together or something. I can look around.
You do know that you can't just use spray paint, it will eat away at the zune's plastic...

Well, my disassembly is gonna have to be held off. I was getting everything together today, and discovered that the miniature air compressor I use with my airbrush crapped out. I'll have to get a new one before I can paint anything.
