But the zune only has like 60MB of RAM (correct me if I'm wrong), so the idea is nice, but I don't think its feasible.

They did not do it for PSP. You probably saw a shell program or theme. Not much use.

Yeah.
I just want Halo, GTA, Call of Duty 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock and a full version of gears of war on my Zune to play. Oh and the internet. I love how people think that anything can go on the Zune.

SilentWalrus' post was the most on topic (before Darren's comment on the rules) before the thread fell off it's train tracks.. but the point I made and Mr Walrus was defending was that IF the Zune ever did get fully hacked, it being basically a Windows Mobile device means it COULD run Windows Mobile, which with it's level of hardware, would make it a slightly formidable Windows Mobile system. Able to play software 3d games, really powerful 2d games, MANY applications for that mobile platform are wonderful. But the only reason anyone would hack the zune for Windows Mobile functionality would be for use of the Zune media player as a Pocket PC with a HUGE storage media, and nothing more... leading toward the thought that the only really useful reasons for that level of hacking (which would take decades etc..) aimed at the zune would be only to benefit a person who desires the use of a pocketPC without purchasing one beyond the zune, but At cost of years upon years upon years of work to get it to function in that way.
ABSOLUTELY pointless. I was just posting on the "CAPACITY" to do that since the question was "XP on Zune?" which there is a technical answer to, albeit not worth the effort of such an insane hack. Where did you get your information from? the Zune itself has 64MB of RAM last I checked, and 4,8,30, or 80GB of storage onboard. Games via XNA3.0CTP only access 16MB of usable RAM. you're right, but I'm not trying to fight over semantics, I didn't realize you were specifically talking in that way. I have only 1 request, and it is only a request, that you be more specific in what you say when you explain things or comment on things, because when someone comes on the threads and sees a quote that says "only has 16MB of RAM" = the whole zune has a minuscule amount of system memory. And right after someone else commented on how the zune doesn't have enough RAM, it may be misunderstood. I appreciate your opinions and comments.

Lucifer is correct...
My old Pocket PC has a 133 MHz processor and 12 MB RAM, and it can run GBC, NES, and Genesis emulators, as well as WMP 7.1. The Zune, if hacked, could do much more than that.
