Default Ac to dc adapter for zune(help)

hey guys, I have the zune fm transmitter, and i have a nice stereo system in my room. i thought i'd rig something up so that i could use the two together.

Just need some help. would i need to do anything to change the power from dc to ac or would i just solder the wires together?

I plan on making something like this

any help would be much appreciated. thanks

I know, but you can also reduce the voltage that is going to the zune to prevent that from happening.

I have experience with this stuff, but not dealing with cross power.

grab a 5v 1 amp wall wart and a female usb plug then wire it up and bingo! you have a cheap fast charging usb wall wart. o yea make sure the polarity is correct before using it; you realy do not want to fry your zune. if you want me to show you some pics of mine ill be glad to

Default Ebay

Just go onto Ebay and look up Zune Charger. You can find universial chargers that work with your existing USB cord. I have one and it works great.

You would need a dc to ac converter, you can get those at most electronic/hardware stores.
That is to keep the Zune from Frying in the added power.
