Default HD 4.0 hack

Just to clear up the subject what exactly do you gain from this hack? I know it allows your computer to see it as an external hard drive of sorts, but do you just drag and drop from there? Also, what types of files, apps. etc. can you then put on your Zune? Does it matter what folder you drop them into? Does it randomly put them on your Zune or will it put them where they "belong" ie alphabetical order by artist or song title etc.

You can drag and drop as long as you have your Zune software open, or else you get a permission error. It will only allow file types supported by the Zune (Here... I don't think you can drag and drop apps though. In terms of music I think you may need to put it the music folder and make an artist and an album folder with in the artist, I think, this is required if you want it to be sorted... (I have no idea...) (Though the alphabetical order always is there)

that all just seems like it's not worth all the hassle of what you have to do. i'll use a hd hack if i can connect my zune to one comp put files on it take it to another comp and drop the files on to that one... otherwise it just all seems pointless to me...

I think most people do it because they don't like Zune's software...

I don't see the point either. At this stage, you still have to open your Zune software, set up a huge sync, and then close the Zune software to unlock your Zune. It's all a little too much pain in the ass for me.
Now, if you could do it without all the software bull****, then it would be worthwhile

Default Here we go again

I might just be making myself look stupid, but how do you achieve this hack.

It doesn't work anymore. Also, try not to bump old threads. Topic locked.
