Has anyone accualy been able to brick the zune? i mean hacking is hard and Bricking is suposed to be easy. and couldnt bricking it be good for the hacking progress? wouldnt bricking it show you how to get into it beter? or leave it with its security gates down so it wouldnt Defend its self against the fources of modded firmware? i dont know much about firmware though so i may be speaking nonsense

When something is bricked it becomes entirely useless or in other words a brick. Typically bricking is bad because that just makes the owner out one Zune. Usually trying to prevent something from getting bricked is the goal. A partial brick may be more what you are suggesting but that can be rather risky.

Actually, I think someone did brick their Zune. I forgot where I read it though, and search is yielding way too many results to find the correct one.
