well i thought this also when i took apart the ds.

It has the ribbons like the zune, but theres no where to put it anywhere.. it would take alot of hardwork to modify the zune to make it compatible with the DS touch screen

this would be awsome but i think you would have to make the zune realize that it was a touch screen and how to use it. it would aso be hard, cause you would need to make the screen fit in the zune.

I don't think you would be able to make it recognize the touch screen, because it would need some custom firmware if I"m not mistaken.

No, I doubt you could. Besides I think the DS touch screen is bigger anyway.
