Well here is my list of tips and stuff you need to know for your zune:
1) in order to keep your files from being deleted off of your zune when you connect to your computer, sync it as a guest. To do this go to settings and click on remove device. Then when you connect it again click sync as a guest and you are on your way.
2) When playing zune games every time that you want to switch a game you have to restart your zune. This drains the battery so when you want to play a game make sure it is a game you would like to play for a while.
3) If the zune software takes up too much space on your computer, make the best of the zalternator. this allows you to be able to use wmp11, mediamonkey, and even itunes(beta). The instructions on how to use it is located on the zuneboards.com forum. It is located Here:

4) Buy a case! This seems like a trivial accesorie however you want to protect your investment... trust me on this one.
5) To save battery life make sure the wireless is not on when you are not using it and make sure that the brightness level is on the lowest possible setting. It will still be bright and visible.
This is the end of my tips and stuff you need to know. If this was helpful to you please donate $
