HDD Mod doesn't work on firmware 2.5

I recently updated my Zune 30 to 2.5. But now the HDD mod doesn't work. I've also tried editing the registry, by which it shows the zune into the explorer but cant copy anything as the zune don't remain in the sync state...is there any way to downgrade from 2.5 to 2.3....Please help.

Follow this link to download the Zune HD Patch... http://www.cppworld.com/Zune/ZuneHDPatch.exe
save this file, open it up and follow the directions, then look in your My Computer Screen and your Zune should be there.
