Default 32gb CompactFlash in a Zune (first gen)

I will be installing a 32gb CompactFlash card into my first generation Zune.

I'm fairly confident it will work, so I just ordered one of the ZIF to CF adapters and also a 32gb CF card.

Currently my first generation Zune has an 80gb Toshiba 1.8" HDD installed.

If it doesn't work, then I'll use it to convert my friends ipod video to CF...no biggie.

So has anyone actually done this? Am I going to have the first ever 32gb FLASH Zune!?

Photos & results when the adapter gets here...

Cheers!

Solid State first gen zune = entirely indestructable, next step, bulletproof polycarbonate transparent zune case cover. That would own every PMP in the entire market.

Judging by your sig, you look experienced enough. How cool would it be if they were swappable?

It would be cool to have 32GB class 6 SHDC cards inside a zune 30. Even smaller power draw with similar speed.

Sounds awesome, I guess you will be. Or at least the first person to do it, and say they've done it.

There should be less lag than the HDD version.

This sounds great. And Since its a flash drive, you dont have to worry about HDD failure. lol.

That also means since it's a flash drive, you have to worry about flash failure and the number of time the falsh drive can be re-written.

Probably (hopefully) will work like a hard reset.
Just a firmware restore via the software.

I'm curious about the hidden partition part, though
