Manually syncing files?

Ive tried a bunch of different ways to manually sync songs without erasing any songs already on my zune. Ive tried to downgrade back down to the original software where the guest option is still available but there is a script error when im installing it. Ive tried the zAlternator and have been successful to a point. I can get my zune recognized on MM and WMP11 but i cant sync songs from there to my zune.

Any advice would be great

Connect as a guest on the new software,
Just connect your zune to another computer or another account on your computer, and make the one your zune's "home"
Then, reconnect your zune to your account/computer and it should ask if you want to connect as a guest or make it your zune's home, choose connect as a guest, and manual sync will stop.
