WMP11 - Z80 Synch Help Needed

I just got my Z80 and synched it with the Z software and hate it. I've spent many hours getting everything perfect in Music(Vista) & WMP11 and would really like to replicate it on my Zune if possible. Will Zsuite or Zalternator do this for me? I did install Media Monkey and transfered all of my files there and though it seems like it will do the trick, I think that the graphics look better and files a bit easier to work with for me in WMP. What are the downsides of using Zsuite or Zalternator?

I would really appreciate any assistance I can get with this. All the threads I've seen on this are several months old and locked so I hope this is the right place for this.

The only downside is that you need to unlock the Zune every time before you sync with WMP or MM.

2) What is the difference between Zsuite & Zalternator or is it the same thing?

3)What is the interface between these and WMP or MM?

4) How do I wipe Zune of the files is has now and does the firmware version make a difference? Do I uninstall the Zune software?

1)I think it will... the tags should be the same, but the quality may differ
2)Zsuite is a tool that put some hacks together to make it organized, so zalternator is in there, with some other hacks that may be helpful to you
3)Sorry, I don't really understand what your asking
4)No, you don't need to uninstall. Firmware wont matter.
Restart your zune(Back+up) or (Back+down and turn your zune on) and when the zune is booting press (Back+Right+Center to delete media)
Zune 80/8/4, same way, except i think you press (Back+play/pause+left to delete media)

So Scrapz....do I need to remove the Zune software from my computer? Will doing so also delete my pc music files?

What I meant with 3) is does Zsuite show up other than when I use it for something.

Are there any advantages in using MM over WMP11? Everyone seems to hate WMP but I am very familiar with it. Thanks!!!

The Zune software needs to be installed, and you need to unlock the Zune with it every time before you sync in another app(wmp or MM).

I installed the software already and it has now become the default media player which I don't want. If I keep the Z software, aren't I going to have the same problems or do I manually bypass it each time I use it

? Why does the Z software bypass WMP as my main media player? Are you saying that the Z software is necessary in order to use my Zune even I use a third party app?

Unless you want to go through the small troubles with zalternator.

I don't mind the minor inconvenience. I'm not sure I understand how my Zune/Zsuite/WMP11 work together.

1)If I use this combination, would I uninstall the Zune software?

2)Is Zsuite taking the place of the Zune software?

3) What is the relationship/interface of Zsuite & WMP? I'm not getting how I will work with the two.

3) Can I tag edit with Zsuite?

Maybe some kind sould could give me a simple step-by-step of how I would use this. Thanks!!!
