In need of firmware

Im in need of the Zune's Firmware file...idk how to get it..dont even know if u can get it...but i want it...lol...i heard the idea hooking it up to an empty ipod (the zune hd) has anyone tried this...if so, could u please gather up any of the files that make up the firmware...or atleast explain to me what the firmware looks like. The reason i need it is becuz i got a few friends that want to see if they can reverse engineer it by any means. i kno some ppl have tried it..they want a gander, but aren't zune owners. Could anyone help me out with this?

You could install and run the zune firmware on an ipod, errors would happen with the wifi & radio. There might be other erros that would come in when trying to access other hardware that is different.
