Default [SOLVED] Any way to Keep songs after 14 day Pass Expires?

Is there any possible way to save everything you've downloaded once the 14 day trial expires? I've already done the hdd mod. Tried copying to my computer hdd and then back but they're still protected. Thanks for any info. - Brett[br]Posted on: December 27, 2006, 10:41:23 PM_________________________________________________S orry, just read this post. Thanks though.

Hi Guys..i am new here and its my first post..i am getting my zune tomorrow..but I have a suggestion for the DRM bypass...I tried this long time ago with DRM protected WMA files and it worked...so, here goes nothing:

Make sure you have Zune as a hard drive and u can copy your songs (with DRM protection) downloaded onto your computer harddrive. Now burn them onto a CD like u r creating an audiocd..so, remember its an AUDIO CD that u r making..so, u should be able to fit 80 min DRM songs here..I guess Nero is a good tool for this..Now, that u have your audio CD...you can put it back in your PC and rip the songs using MP3 format. You can use windows media player or any other software u like..and I am very sure that it will not have any DRM.But, I still have to test it after getting my Zune. But plz post here if anyone finds it working. I'll alo confim this process after testing it with Zune's DRM.
Cheers.

go download this... www.tunebite.com

download the trial, and then search on google for a activation number. which is real simple to find.

I was just about to suggest this! But instead of downloading offline, go check the Tools section of the forums for Tunebite, it is the premium version WITH the crack: http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/too...-platinum.html

Actually, I think it may be. I've seen something somewhere that Zune DRMed songs work on Plays4Sure devices. I'm not sure if this is true or not.

The Zune DRM is very much PlaysForSure, however, from what I have seen, all the P4S "Crackers" do not work on Zune files.

Despite this, I do know that Tunebite works. It's as simple as if you can hear it, you can record it. Tunebite takes that principal a bit further by speeding up the sound, going on a stream (Probably "Wave" or something similar) in the audio driver to record that and then slows it back down to proper speed.

It should have come with your Zune, in the form of a card with "Music is in the Air" written in bold letters. If you really want it, I can give you mine that it wouldn't let me redeem because I already used one.

And to answer the question, when I used my trial and it expired, it told me that it needed to check the status of my subscription or something and to plug in to my computer for it to update, before I could play it again. So, I ended up having to delete it.

Actually, don't use tunebite.
Use the FariUse4wm (use the search tool on this forum to find it)
Sorry can't be much more of a help, but I'm in a hurry.
I'll edit later with the link.
It will unlock all of your songs in a matter of seconds (instead of having to play them in real time - that takes forever!)
