Default Why not 64 Bit?

Of the couple of how to install games on your Zune guides I have read, all of them say that it won't work on 64 bit computers. Why?

P.S. It's working on my 64 bit computer just fine. O.o

Are you using XP or Vista? They are vastly different as for as 64 bit support. The guides are probably old.

The old CTP version of XNA Game Studio wasn't able to deploy on 64-bit Windows. The beta fixed this, but most of the guides haven't been updated.

Windows XP x64 Edition was just a rebranded version of Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition with all the server functionality taken out. It wasn't that bad (I used it for a while), but a lot of programs wouldn't work due to OS version checks and stuff like that. Also, driver availability was poor (and still is for Vista x64).
