I downloaded c sharp and xna and all the games but when I click on the folders c sharp opens but says that "the project type is not supported by this instillation"
why? I reinstalled it like 3 times I have c sharp express with sp1 wtf is wrong? |

What type of file format are you clicking on?

i had that problem a few times... try googling it. There are many things that could be causing it. I know it took me a while to find the exact one that fixed it for me.

I've actually got the same problem. I had both VS 2008 Pro and VS C# Express, but I didn't want to keep two large programs on my HD. I had tried opening the C# .sln files before in VS 2008 Pro, but it never seemed to load. Regardless, I went and uninstalled VS C# Express, and I still have the same problem. Is Google the only way to figure this out, or is there a quick explaination for lazy people like me?
