READ - Important Info about XNA 3.0CTP and Zune Software 3.0!

Since the zune software was updated and so was the zune firmware, Xna 3.0CTP is not available for the zune as of right now, if you still have the version before this doesn't apply to you. The only games available for your zune (firmware 3.0) is the pre-installed so Don't Ask why, they will probably come out with an update of XNA Game Studio for the zune firmware version 3.0.

I suspect the answer lies in the fact that the Zune 3.0 Firmware includes the final version of the XNA Framework (I assume this as Hexic was previously shown to be built on XNA, and here it is in a public release) and of course we're all working with the XNA CTP framework, which is older...

So I guess its nearing time for the final XNA GS 3 release?

So....I know this is going to sound stupid, but do you have a possible estimate of when the final XNA release is going to be? I'm eager for it, because I just found out I could put games on me zune.

I was about to post something about this too. Most of the games just make my zune reset =/

All of my old games are still working right now. I really like that it doesn't restart after you exit a game now. The new XNA studio is supposed to be out this week but I was really hoping for Microsoft to have an official way to distribute games in this release. They should do an app store type setup in the marketplace.

Everybody needs to be patient! When the BETA 3.0 studio comes out, we will need to upgrade the project and recompile. The logic/assests will be reusable. thats 90% done right there...
