people who dont have vista cant put the games on thier zune so im ****ed ne way i can put it on my zune some other way

Umm...yeah.

You can use XP to deploy games too. That's probably what most of the people here are using.

By any chance are you a mac user? because an assumption like that is so unavoidably unfounded to the point that I'm curious about how you could have possibly come to that conclusion. There is A LOT of information, on this site alone, talking about how to install games onto the zune with XP, and other similar topics. I am not making fun of you at all, but rather am so curious and Shocked at such a claim that I just would like to know how you could have come to believe something like that. Wow... If you answer that question, I'll help you out in any way I can.

RIG installs games without C# 2008, and does a good job. It works on XP, and Vista, any OS that Zune software can run on.

I'm in progress trying to get this ancient laptop running XP Fundamentals for Legacy Pc's to deploy zune games with C# so I can get back to making new apps / games.

Yah, i have to agree with Lucifer. Even though they came out with vista, i remember hearing from somewhere almost 95% of PC users still use XP...

I did use XP till it died... and I just said no more... and then went to the extreme of Linux. But yes... given the choice of Oses... I'd go Linux, XP, Vista, Mac. But XP is a pretty stable piece of software.

I've used *SOME* form of XP as a main OS almost nonstop from 2003 to now, I've also used Server 2k3, and Linux. Before 2003, I used windows 98 until about LATE late 2002. I've "used" Vista on some computers, but it has NEVER been my OS of choice. I once dual booted XP/server 2k3 and Mac OSX during a time when I was assistant systems admin for a macintosh based business (suckiest part of my life.) But so far, my fav OS would have to be Windows Server 2003 x64 bit. Only problem is I have only a few times ever had a 64bit system.. *woe is me*

I'm using Vista...

Deploying games is easy, once you get the hang of it.

No...

About 70% of PC users use XP. About 17% of PC users use Vista.

It would be nice for people to do their own research, but here you go: Market share for browsers, operating systems and search engines
