Sorry Guys

So, I've tried to keep working on my Pokemon game even with the whole completely ****ed Zunepad thing, but it's gotten to the point where it takes upwards from 30 seconds to successfully scroll to Music, then to Artist A, then to Album B, then to Track C and hit the play button. This means I sure as hell can't play games. And to add to that, my baby sister pried the hold switch from my poor wounded pal and it takes a knife to lock/unlock it now. These conditions are less than optimal for me to develop under, regardless of the fact that I finally have a graphics card capable of Pixel Shader support and thus could potentially finish the game on my computer.

All these things, mixed with my senior year of high school starting in four days, are forcing me to resign from the game development scene here. I'm abandoning my Pokemon, Pokemon Trading Card Game, and Mole Mania projects now. Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to my Pokemon game being completed.

I'm going to hold on to the code I have in hopes that I may eventually get my Zune replaced/repaired, but I don't know if Microsoft would even bother with such a FUBAR Zune. Who knows?

And in conclusion, thanks for the support y'all!

If you're under the initial warranty, they should accept it and even if it's not, they seem to charge a flat fee regardless of condition.

Hate to say it, but with such a big project, I saw this coming. You going to release the source for future developers?

Unfortunately, I can't just stick up a link to it. I never could get Nintendo's okay to do the project in the first place, so some people here would eat me alive if I did post it. However, PM me and I'll gladly give you, or anyone else, a copy.

And again, if I can manage to get my Zune replaced, I'll pick the project right up again. But I just can't continue it in my present situation.

Yeah, some people here seem to hide behind copyright as an excuse to trash other people's work. It's too bad you're abandoning this :/

if i were planning on buying a new zune anytime soon, i'd gladly send my old one just to keep you working. But i probably won't get a new one for a while.. i hope you do get it fixed though, i would hate to see your work go to waste.
