Naming of the games....is the 'z' or 'zune' really necessary?

For anyone who has made a game or suggested a game, I just want to know why most of you feel it is necessary to add a 'z' or 'zune' to the beginning of every game lol. Everyone here knows its for the zune anyways, and it just gets kind of repetitive and annoying to see it. You don't see every Xbox game out there have an 'x' or a '360' in with the name. I'm not trying to say that it is wrong or anything but I usually just rename the game when i get it in C#.

why does it bother you to have the z infront of the name?....I think for now on I shall put a z infront of my game names just to spite you and make you change it!!!

The newer games I see now don't really have the "z" like Solitaire or that Helicopter game.

I think it was just a fad to begin with, b/c so many people were excited about zune games, but now it should slow down.

I personally loved how every game for the N64 mainly had 64 on it.

Ipod, Iphone, Itunes... Apple kinda ruined the whole 'letter signature' for me... lets not fall into that trend like they did.

you are absolutely right, and everybody already knows that these games are strictly for the zune, so there is no real need to label it with a z

No they aren't. I am developing a new version of GW3 for all three platforms.

He probably means that when the games are posted here everyone knows they are for the zune.

Haha, hense the name of the site ' zuneboards' ^_^ though you so have a point about the diffrent platforms. Which is another good reason there shouldnt be a signature on the title.

It's Zune Solitaire now, actually. I can't edit the title of my thread, so it still has the old name.

When you make games for the Zune, name them however you want. Meanwhile, the rest of us will name our games the way we want.

He means if you make your own game you can choose to call it whatever you want. But since he wrote the game, he gets to call it whatever he wants. I think my next Zune game should just be "ZzZAwesomesauceZzZ: Zune Edition".
