After seeing that, I think a better method for selecting letters would be a wheel. Think about those old school arcade games where all the letters were in a circle. Then you'd spin the circle to get a letter to the top and press the button. You could do that with the Zune using the track pad to flick to spin the circle. Then when you touch the pad the circle stops. Then click to enter the letter. Once you got used to it, it would probably be much faster than that awful looking keyboard. And for the 30GB users, just let DPad Up/Down scroll through as well.

Just a thought.

lol, telling me this won't help at all. I'm just showing it. I dont know crap about c# and Nurta was the one who made this (or at least put it here on ZB). I would really like to see an easier and faster way to type though - and be able to type more than 10 characters at a time.

nice idea. it can work perfectly with the ZunePad enabled devices. this is the best solution for this chat thing.

i think it needs buttons like the psp where you use up down left right and the on screen buttons are:
[abc] [def] [ghi]
[jkl] [mno] [pqr]
etc so it would work similar to texting. Would be way better than any other method imo. If anyone has a psp look at it, the same typing method it uses could work very easily on the zune
