Zune Game Controller

I first tried to play a game with my Zune 80 using the Gen 2 Dock station. It didn't quite work as the pad buttons didn't work.

I later tried it again with my Zune 30 with a Gen 1 Dock station. It worked beautifully. I was able to play MS Alien Game using the wireless flicker. It was beautiful *tear*.

It's surprising that any of them worked. The XNA team themselves said the dock is not supported in the XNA 3.0 CTP and they even said that it wouldn't work. It's interesting then that it does. Perhaps they were doing the usual Microsoft thing of not promising something they haven't tested even though it sort of works on some stuff. Cool to know the 30GB users get some bonus feature.

um...awesome for us 30 gig users. I googled "wireless flicker" and the result was kind of odd. the first result at amazon.com...:\

ur a genius too bad my 30 gig screen broke now i got my 80 o well i still love um both
